Get in touchwith WalkTheTalk
👋 While WalkTheTalk groups may be self-organised, we’re here to provide as much support as we can. Get in touch with us following one of the options below.
I’m worried about someone else
Email hello@walkthetalk.org.uk and put “I’m worried about someone” or similar as the subject. Our wellbeing and safeguarding volunteers are on-hand to assist.
Depending on the situation, we have different ways of handling enquiries, but in the first instance email us and we’ll reply speedily to support you and the individual concerned. While we’re not clinicians, we can help signpost. You can learn more about our safeguarding and risk process here.
I’m worried about myself
WalkTheTalk is not a crisis service. We’re only able to offer peer support for social anxiety and it’s no substitute for professional support. Should you feel unable to keep yourself safe at any point please call NHS 111, the Samaritans on 116 123 or text SHOUT to 85258. Please call 999 in an emergency situation
